Pro:
The best thing I like about this eyeshadow set is that there are so many shades and colors to choose from. Not only that but they are mixed with matte, shimmer, and another style so that it can meet almost any occasion.

The price is definitely another selling point. Some of the other eye makeup out there will cost you more than this, just for a small sample of a single shade.

I always check out videos on youtube.com so I am inclined to want a large set of makeup. This basically has every color under the sun so I can easily follow along with those videos. The other reason I like that is because I can experiment with these eyeshadows and when I find a style I really like and have mastered, I can then use more expensive eye shadow for it.

Con:
The applicators that are included are not meant to blend shades. So it would be best if you use a blending brush. The strange thing is that when I use them with an applicator, they almost seem a bit chalky, but when I use my finger then glide on and blend perfectly. This could be from the oils on my fingers but I also noticed this same thing when using a different applicator and brush.

They contain a lot of talc. If you are allergic to it or hate the chalky feel then this eyeshadow is not for you. That being said, it doesn’t really matter all that much if this is a gift to your 10 year old daughter who is going to play around with them.

I’ve heard some horror stories of people receiving their 88 color eyeshadow palette and only to have it all cracked and weathered. Another problem is ordering from Amazon.com they sometimes make mistakes. There is a review over there that says the girl was sent the 78 color eyeshadow rather than the 88 eyeshadow.

Over all I have to say that this is a good buy for the price and definitely something I could recommend to someone after they have read my review. There is another palette you might find interesting which contains even more colors. And that is the 120 color palette.
