Everyone knows that pink is a feminine color that most men turn away from. It is usually used by girls and women in their clothing and makeup to give them a most. Adding a pink eyeshadow to your everyday routine is quite easy. In fact, most women can use it in formal and informal ways depending on their job of course. As with other eyeshadows, your skin tone will also play a role in how it is applied. So let’s look at some brands and tips that you can use when putting on pink eyeshadow.

This eyeshadow feels very smooth and creamy going on. This makes it very easy to spread evenly. The best thing about it is that you can either use it on its own or combine it with other makeup. If you are one who uses a lot of pink eyeshadow then you may try this one out. It is a little expensive, at $17, but as you should know already I believe that quality comes before price.

For Ever is another brand that you may not have heard of before. However, just because they aren’t as popular as MAC or Revlon, their quality is definitely up to par. It is a very high density pigmented makeup which will last you a long time since only a modest amount is needed. This is another item that feels really silky when going on your skin. One common question is if this eyeshadow can be built upon. The answer is yes it can. Another benefit is that if you have dark skin, these will work really well. Even the lightest shades seem to show up well on dark skin. Of course the price reflects the quality. This particular palette is about $20.

How to Use Pink Eyeshadow

I often like to create a baby doll look so that is what I will show you how to do in a few simple steps.

1. Prime your eyelids
2. Apply the pink eyeshadow with a MAC 213 brush. Don’t be afraid to really pack it on.
3. Apply a brown eyeshadow to the creases of your eyelids with a MAC 217 Brush
4. Apply a dark purple eyeshadow to the outer corner of your eye and bled it towards the crease lines
5. Apply a lighter color to accent your brow bone. I like to use a very light cream.
6. If you want, you can add another layer of pink shimmer to your eyelid.
7. Line your eyes with liquid eyeliner and flick it out.
8. You’re done! If you want to add extra pizzazz then use fake eyelashes and curl them.
